We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our team with a specific focus on transport and warehousing. As an Operations Assistant, your main responsibilities will involve data entry, customer follow-up, and providing support to the operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely data entry of transport and warehousing information into relevant systems.
- Assist with tracking and monitoring shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates.
- Conduct customer follow-up to ensure satisfaction and address any queries or concerns.
- Assist in coordinating and scheduling transport and warehouse activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer service.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, record keeping, and document management.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data entry and administrative tasks.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer follow-up.
- Proficient computer skills, including data entry and MS Office applications.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in transport or warehousing operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems used in the industry is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
